The earners are able to conduct germination testing for seeds in accordance with the ISTA International Rules for Seed Testing.
How ?
The earners are able to select substrates, methods of sowing, conditions for sowing, as well as test germination of different seeds under ISTA Rules.
Method overview
Seed germination testing should consider the following requirements:
- Selection of growing medium, cultivation method, temperature, and lighting.
- Assessment of normal seedling characteristics.
- Setting seedling assessment dates, including additional special methods for certain seed types.
In addition, students should consider the requirements for seed germination testing as per ISTA regulations.
